Physics 247 fall 2007
Homework

You will learn physics by solving problems. There is no other way.

Homework grading policy

Each week, 4 problems will be chosen at random to be graded. Submitted problems are graded on a 10-point scale as to whether they were Complete (3 points), Clear (2 points), Plausible (1 point), Initially OK (1 point), and Correct (3 points). Several of the problems will be graded in discussion by students grading other students (peer review). The Rubrics for assigning peer review grades is as follows:

Larry will grade two homworks each week and the grading will bebased upon the following rubric:

0
Little or no effort

1
Poor

2
Fair

3
Good

4
