Some of the on-line activities (homework, gradebook, etc.) for this course run on a secure server and must be logged into. You must use your 10-digit UW ID Number as your id to login. Your initial password is also set to your 10-digit UW ID Number. You can (and should) change the password (from the gradebook link). Even if you have used the website for 201, you get a new account - so login with your 10-digit UW ID number.
In some places on this website your 10-digit UW ID Number is called "NetID". The Physics 202 login has has no relation to DOIT "NetID".
Note: Your browser needs to have cookies enabled. Check Options or Preferences pane of your browser. If you need more help with this try DOIT help desk or nearest geek (there should be one down the hall).
If you are not enrolled, you can log into many of the secure activities using guest as your NetID and guest as your password. (Enrolled students should avoid using the guest login since credit is not recorded for guest.) You should always log out of the secure server at the end of your work session. Secure server Log In and Log Out links are located at the bottom of this and subsequent menu pages.
