Please come prepared for the lab: read the the Physics 201 Laboratory Manual for the experiment for that week, and write a few line gist of what you intend to do and learn in the lab, and any questions you may have in your lab notebook. Raise those questions at the start of the lab during the TA briefing and/or with your lab partners. All the work for the lab needs to be completed during the lab hours. You must, individually, keep a lab notebook to jot down more notes and record your measurements. There will be an oral quiz at the end of each lab, which is administered individually although you work in a group of three.
A portion of your lab grade will be based on your lab reports. You will be randomly assigned three labs, by your TA, to write reports use the notes that you have kept. You need to complete one lab report every "Makeup" week, whether or not you "Makeup" a lab.
If you do not complete a lab you will be assigned a zero for it. You must complete at least 10 out of these 11 labs to pass this course, irrespective of your performance in other portions of this course.

Suggested format for Lab Report:
1. Write no more than 5 pages
2. Describe the physics goal
3. Describe the experimental method, with any necessary figures
4. Use your notes from the lab to present data, with any analysis plots or tables
5. Present conclusions
