Welcome to Physics 174 for
the Fall 2005 semester! This is the third course in a three course sequence.
This course will cover electricity and magnetism, as well as "modern"
physics (atomic and nuclear).
To log onto the class system you will need a NetID and password. Your UWW e-mail name, without the "@uww.edu" part, is your NetID, and your 7 digit University ID number is your password. Try logging in as soon as possible, and e-mail me if you are having trouble.
We will have class participation in lecture, and part of your grade depends on this participation, so come prepared! I hope you're looking forward to this semester. Although physics is generally considered pretty challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding. And frankly, I think it's the most beautiful and practical of sciences.
