Some of the on-line activities (homework, preflight, gradebook) for
this
course run on a secure server and must be logged into. If you are
enrolled,
1. You must log in using your 10 digit UW
Student ID, with no
hyphens or spaces. (If your ID has 11 digits, enter the first
10.)
2. Your initial
password is "103" (without the
quotes). You
can change your password on the Gradebook
page for more security.
3. Your browser needs to have cookies enabled. Check the
Options or Preferences pane of your browser.
4. If you register late for the course, you may have to wait until the next Tuesday or Friday night at 10:30 PM to log in.
Please follow the above instructions CAREFULLY. Common difficulties
are including hyphens or spaces in the ID, entering 11 digits, and
using My UW NetID's or passwords. If you're not doing any of these,
have followed instruction 4 above, and you're
still having difficulty, send the date
you registered, your FULL name,
your lab
section number (a number from 301 to 320, not the 5-digit class number)
and your 10-digit
UW Student ID number to herndon@hep.wisc.edu.
