Physics 103 Fall 2006 Planner

Labs (Monday through Thursday) and Discussions (Tuesday & Thursday) are conducted by teaching assistants. Each week's lab assignment is listed on the Sunday at the beginning of the week.

Chapter Sections specified are reading assignments - after reading, click that link to answer the preflight before the lecture. Preflights, sets of pre-lecture questions, open at 5 PM, five days before the due date. Read the assigned chapter in the text (see below) before answering the preflights. Do not wait until the morning of the lecture to complete them. If you have problems with your computer, it will be too late to go to another computer and get credit! Answers to preflights can be found in the lecture notes  and will also appear in later preflights.

Homework may be worked on at any time during the semester. Homework is due on Wednesdays  at 5 PM. The second due date, for 80% credit, is always the following Wednesday, again at 5 PM. See the Syllabus page for details. Due dates are also listed at the top of each assignment page.

The Practice Exam links will work all semester. There are more Practice Exams on the Practice Exam Page. Midterm and Final exam links will link to exam solutions after the exams have been graded. For exams, you must report to your assigned

Lectures will be given by
Professor Clint Sprott (CS) and Professor Wesley Smith (WS)
