First, do you really want to log in the the Fall 2005 Physics 103 web site? It's not the current web site!

Some of the on-line activities (homework, preflight, gradebook) for this course run on a secure server and must be logged into. If you are enrolled,

    1.  You must log in using your 10 digit UW Student ID, with no hyphens or spaces. (If your ID has 11 digits, enter the first 10.)

    2.  Your initial password is also your 10-digit UW Student ID number, with no hyphens or spaces. (If your ID has 11 digits, enter the first 10.) You can change your password on the Gradebook page.

    3.  Your browser needs to have cookies enabled. Check the Options or Preferences pane of your browser.

Please follow the above instructions CAREFULLY. Common difficulties are including hyphens or spaces in the ID, entering 11 digits, and using My UW passwords. If you're not doing any of these and you're still having difficulty, send  your FULL name, your lab section number (a number from 301 to 350, not the 5-digit class number) and your 10-digit UW Student ID number to  dmarshal@wisc.edu.

If you have registered late for the course, you will definitely have to send me the above info and wait to hear back from me before you can log in.

If you are not registered, you can log into many of the secure activities using guest as your NetID and guest as your password. (Enrolled students should avoid using the guest login since credit is not recorded for guest.) You should always log out of the secure server at the end of your work session. Secure server Log In and Log Out links are located at the bottom of this page, the main page and many other pages.
